Originally made as gift marking her 100th birthday (and the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II) in 2025, Munitionette also serves as a fitting tribute to his grandma and the many other British women, nicknamed "munitionettes" during the war; who risked life and limb in these grimy sweatshops in the name of preserving freedom and democracy.
